Bio:
Tony Hua is a doctoral student at UC Merced. He joined the inaugural cohort for the newly founded Ph.D. program in 2020 after graduating from UC Merced in 2015 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, a B.A. in Economics, and a minor in writing. Prior to joining the program, he worked as an independent games developer and at 9 Dots, a non-profit dedicated to developing computer science education for K-12 public schools in the Los Angeles area. His research interests include behavioral and experimental economics, game theory, and decision making. In his spare time, he enjoys designing and playing games of all sorts.
