On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, the Economics and Business Management (EBM) Department proudly hosted its End-of-Year Celebration. This special event brought together students and faculty to recognize academic excellence, highlight student accomplishments, and celebrate a year of hard work and success.
One of the highlights of the evening was the recognition of eleven exceptional graduating students who have made a lasting impact within the EBM program through their dedication, leadership, and academic achievements.
Honorees:
Jacqueline Azevedo, Faryn Eastman, Miki Chroust, Ellen Escamilla, Mitzy Perez, Karla Ramirez, Isabella Lui, Robiye Hernandez, Brandon Castaneda, Kian Vaziri, and Mehar Sidhu
These students were selected for their outstanding performance in the classroom, their involvement in research and departmental initiatives, and their commitment to the values of the EBM Department. Each has shown a remarkable level of perseverance, intellectual curiosity, and passion for their field of study.
Their accomplishments not only reflect individual excellence but also underscore the strength of the EBM program and the supportive community that defines UC Merced. As these students prepare to take their next steps, whether in graduate studies, the professional world, or new entrepreneurial ventures, they leave behind a legacy of achievement and inspiration.
The EBM Department congratulates these graduates on their incredible success and thanks them for their contributions to the campus community. We look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish in the future.
