ACCOUNTING MINOR [AVAILABLE STARTING FALL 2026]
The Accounting minor is a valuable complement to almost any major. While it strengthens the background of students pursuing economics or business administration, it’s equally powerful for students in other social sciences, engineering, natural sciences, or the humanities. Accounting provides practical tools for understanding how organizations operate, how resources are allocated, and how decisions are made. These skills are relevant in nearly every profession.
By learning to analyze financial information, apply ethical standards, and communicate insights clearly, students gain an edge in graduate school, research, or in the job market. Whether you plan to manage projects, lead teams, work in the public sector, or launch your own business, the Accounting minor adds a marketable skill set that helps you stand out.
