UC Investments Academy helping UC Merced students launch into finance careers
A recently aired ABC30 Fresno segment spotlighted the UC Investments Academy, launched on the UC Merced campus and powered by the leadership of the Economics & Business Management Department. The feature highlighted the program’s growing impact through interviews with Associate Teaching Professor Justin Hicks and one of the Academy’s alumni. Together, they showcased how the initiative is equipping students with essential finance skills, expanding industry exposure, and opening doors to competitive internships and career opportunities across the financial sector.
