Bio:
Grant Goehring is an Assistant Professor of Economics at UC Merced. He grew up in the Central Valley of California before attending undergraduate studies at Oberlin College. Dr. Goehring completed his PhD in Economics from Boston University in May 2026, where he was an NBER Gender in the Economy dissertation fellow. He is an economic historian interested in questions primarily related to health, gender, and public economics.
