The intercampus visitor program provides the opportunity for qualified undergraduate students at UC Merced to take advantage of educational opportunities at other UC campuses. Take advantage of the varied courses and expertise of the economics faculty across the UC campuses.
Study Abroad (including UC Education Abroad Program):
UCEAP is one of the oldest and most reputable study abroad programs and offers UC students study abroad opportunities in nearly 35 countries around the world through scores of international partner institutions for summer, semester, and yearlong programs most in study — but also internship, field study, and research — abroad programs.
UC Merced Washington Program (UCDC):
The UC Washington Center (UCDC) is a multi-campus residential, instructional and research center that provides students and faculty from the University of California with opportunities to study, research, work, and live within Washington’s rich cultural, political and international heritage. As interns with Congress, the White House, cabinet agencies, advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, scientific laboratories, and the news media, students gain firsthand exposure to the American political process while attaining valuable work experience. Students also take courses at the Center to fulfill the academic component of each campus program. Many write and present comprehensive research papers based in part on their internship experiences.
UC Merced at UC Center Sacramento (UCCS):
UC Center Sacramento (UCCS) educates California’s future leaders in the craft of politics and policymaking, while making the expertise of faculty of the nation’s leading university available to decision-makers in the legislative and executive branches of government. UCCS academic internship program participants earn UC credit, maintain their financial aid eligibility, and gain valuable work experience while interning in Sacramento.
